HALE COUNTY, Texas– As of 5:00 p.m., January 7, Hale County and the City of Plainview reported 24 cases of COVID-19 and four recoveries.
This now makes a total of 338 active cases of the virus, with 331 at home and seven in a medical facility, according to the city.
Overall, the total number of positive COVID cases were 5,449, with 4,991 recoveries and 120 deaths.
