HALE COUNTY, Texas– As of 5:00 p.m., December 16, Hale County and the City of Plainview reported 33 cases of COVID-19 and 17 recoveries.
This now makes a total of 291 active cases of the virus, with 269 at home and 22 in a medical facility, according to the city.
Overall, the total number of cases was 4,817, with 4,426 recoveries and 100 deaths.
