A Lubbock man was arrested after a police report said he fired a gun at his neighbors while on his roof Saturday night.
The incident was reported in the 1900 block of 45th Street around 11:30 p.m.
Joe Lee Harrison Jr. was charged with aggravated assault, discharging a firearm and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.
According to a police report, an officer was dispatched to the scene in reference to a disturbance and possible shots fired.
The victim advised police his next door neighbor to the east of his residence was on top of his roof and had fired a shot at him.
The Lubbock Police Department told EverythingLubbock.com on Sunday that Harrison fired the shot in the direction of the neighbor and two juveniles.
The police report identified the two juveniles as the children of the victim.
When the responding officer arrived at the scene, Harrison was still on the roof.
A SWAT callout was then initiated and the perimeter was secured.
Harrison was taken into custody about an hour later without incident.
He remains in the Lubbock County Detention Center with a bond set at $61,000.
