Larry Wesley Brown, also known as Ted Magyk and Kevin Trusty, was arrested this month in Midland.  He was accused of bank robbery in Lubbock.

A federal grand jury indicted Brown in March.  The indictment said on January 6, 2018 Brown robbed First Convenience Bank, inside the Walmart of 1911 Marsha Sharp Freeway.

Police released surveillance images at the time and said the suspect “could possibly be armed.”  There were no reports of injuries in the robbery.

Brown pleaded not guilty last week and a trial date was tentatively set for January 7, 2019.

For now, he cannot post bond to be released on the federal charge because he is facing state charges in an unrelated case.
