LUBBOCK, Texas (NEWS RELEASE) – The following is a news release from the Office of the Lubbock County Judge:
Due to the conditions present in the Lubbock County Courthouse and Offices over September 23-25, the Lubbock County Offices will be closing for business September 25 at 12pm, Noon. We will resume normal business hours Thursday, September 26, 2019. This measure is occurring because of the rising temperature inside offices. The main cooling system to the downtown offices malfunctioned this past weekend and has posed a safety issue to Lubbock County employees and the citizens who are visiting these offices.
