Michael Anthony Longoria, 24, of Lubbock went on trial this week for aggravated sexual assault, however, during the trial he decided take a plea deal.

Longoria agreed to a 20-year prison sentence.  He will get nearly two years of jail credit and he can request parole after half of his sentence is served.

Officers were told that Longoria hit the victim multiple times.

A young child was also struck, police said.  Officers were then told that Longoria sexually assaulted the victim.
