Lubbock’s Salvation Army, Texas Tech deploy to Hurricane Ida disaster areas

Lubbock teams of Salvation Army deployed with a disaster canteen truck on Sunday August 29 to help those affected by Hurricane Ida. Governor Gregg Abbott also announced a series of deployments from the State of Texas to help in Louisiana. Texas Tech’s Hurricane Research Team deployed as well to track the storm system with Sticknet platforms.
