Racer Classic Car Wash to offer free washes, support for local police officer

On Thursday, Racer Classic Car Wash announced free car washes all day on April 5 to celebrate a brand-new location on Milwaukee Avenue and 67th Street. 

The car wash will also be asking for donations to help Felipe Flores, a Lubbock Police officer, who was recently diagnosed with kidney cancer, according to press release. 

A press release said all donations will go to the family of Flores to help manage his care.

Racer Classic Car Wash is giving away FREE $8 basic car washes all day on April 5th from 7:30am -7pm at their brand-new location on Milwaukee & 67th and asking for donations to support two Lubbock police officers working to help their brother, Felipe Flores, who was recently diagnosed with kidney cancer and underwent surgery. He will be out of work for a while during his recovery, further treatments, and rehabilitation. Funds will go to the family to help in managing his care. Mr. Flores has been serving on the Lubbock Police Department since 2006.

If you are planning to get your car washed soon, please come on over to Racer Classic Car Wash on Milwaukee & 67th on April 5th for your FREE car wash and join the community as we raise funds for Felipe Flores!! If you choose to get an upgraded car wash, the amount difference will be donated to the Flores Family. Donations will also be accepted at all Racer Car Wash locations.
