Severe weather threatens the South Plains

A strong line of severe thunderstorms continued moving closer to Lubbock Wednesday evening. 

The KAMC and KLBK weather teams said Lubbock should expect the brunt of the severe weather between 10 p.m and 1:00 a.m.

They said this storm threatens to bring large hail, damaging winds of 70+ mph, flooding and isolated tornadoes.
