LUBBOCK, Texas — NBA Hall-Of-Famer Shaquille O’Neal will be in Lubbock for Texas Tech football’s home opener September 11, the school announced Tuesday.

“The Big Diesel” will DJ the pregame party at Raider Alley before Texas Tech kicks off against Stephen F. Austin.

As a reminder, Raider Alley is free to fans.

O’Neal had a 19-year career in the NBA, in which he won four championships and an MVP award and established himself as one of the most colorful personalities in the league’s history.
