LUBBOCK, Texas (KAMC NEWS) – Are you a fan of South Plains politics? Here are your Talking Points for this week. 

Also, we’ll have a recap all the local, state and national political news of the past week.With all the talk about taxes, it’s a good idea to see how our local leaders are spending your money. Local storm water and road projects are the latest items on tap. 

A majority of Lubbock County voters in the recent election approved a $99.6 million bond to pay for county road projects. The final vote was 67-percent in favor, 33-percent against. 

We’ll spend five good minutes with Lubbock County Judge Curtis Parish who joins us in studio to discuss the passage of Propositon A and other items of interest for county residetns. 

As the trade dispute between the U.S. and Chinac continues, some U.S. Department of Agriculture researchers feel like they’re being force out for negative reports about administrative policy measures.
