LUBBOCK, Texas (KAMC) — Are you a fan of South Plains politics? Here are your Talking Points for this week.

There are plans to fix Lubbock’s brick streets and add some additional lanes to busy roadways. It all sounds like normal issued for a growing city, right? However, the Hub City is about to find out if all of it is worth the price.

A lot of political blood, sweat and tears are coming to fruition this week. The Texas Tech School of Veterinary Medicine in Amarillo will opens its doors and welcomes the inaugural veterinary class of 2025.
