Texas Tech QB announces intention to transfer

LUBBOCK, Texas— Texas Tech senior quarterback, McLane Carter, took to twitter Tuesday to announce his decision to transfer schools.

According to Texas Tech’s website, Carter originally transferred to Tech from Tyler Junior College his sophomore year.  

Over his last season with Texas Tech, Carter completed 28-of-51 passing for 318 yards and two touchdowns with two interceptions. In the road win against TCU, McLane completed 2-of-3 for 12 yards.

Carter is from Gilmer, Texas and has yet to announce where he will be transferring.
