CASA of the South Plains is excited to announce the I Love 90’s Country Music Concert at the South Plains Fair Park Coliseum brought to you by VIP Custom Events, Friday, June 1, 2018. This special benefit concert celebrates CASA’s 25th Anniversary and will feature live performances by country music legends Tracy Byrd, Rick Trevino, and Deryl Dodd. The multi-platinum country music artist, Tracy Byrd, burst onto the country music scene in 1993 with his chart topping hit single “Holdin’ Heaven”, which reached Number One on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart. During his career, Tracy Byrd has released ten studio albums, two greatest-hits albums, and has charted more than thirty hit singles, including eleven additional Top 10 hits.

Rick Trevino, launched his career in 1993 with the release of his debut single, “Just Enough Rope”, which was the first mainstream country music single to feature separate English and Spanish-language versions. In 1996, his hit single “Running Out of Reasons to Run” reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart. Trevino won a Grammy in 1998 for BEST MEXICAN-AMERICAN MUSIC PERFORMANCE and has charted a total of fourteen singles, and recorded seven studio albums.

Texas native, Deryl Dodd has released five studio albums, a live album, and has charted nine singles on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart. His single, “A Bitter End”, was No. 26 on the country charts and No. 88 on the Billboard Hot 100.

For 25 years, CASA of the South Plains and its volunteer Advocates have served abused and neglected foster children by giving them a voice and making sure their best interest are represented in court.
