U.S. Capitol windows boarded up, officer dies as result of injuries

The windows to the U.S. Capitol are boarded up after protesters left a trail of destruction inside of the capitol.

An officer died Thursday night as a result of injuries sustained during Wednesday’s incident.

Friday morning, President Donald Trump said he will not be attending the inauguration via Twitter.
