Update: Missing 22-year-old woman found safe

At 8:10 a.m. Monday morning, Lubbock Police released a statement saying Marshayla Session was found in Slaton and is now safe with her family. 

The following is a press release from the Lubbock Police Department.

(LUBBOCK, TX) – Lubbock police officers are currently searching for 22-year-old Jaylnn Marshayla Session who was reported missing by her family around 1:40 a.m. on Monday. Session is considered missing and endangered due to a mental health condition.

Family members believe Session left their home located in the 1100 block of 82nd Street at approximately 11:30 p.m. on Sunday. Due to her mental health condition, Session may not be able to communicate well with others and may not be able to find her way home.

Session is described as a black female with black hair, brown eyes, approximately 119 pounds and is 4 foot 11 inches tall. She was last seen wearing a red Texas Tech hoodie and black and gold Nike’s.

Anyone who sees Session should immediately call 911.
