West End Center is hosting a Farmers Market every Saturday this summer from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at West Loop 289 at 34th Street. Pick up fresh produce and listen to live music on the plaza.
Michael Brian with GRACO Real Estate Development says they want “West End to be a place where our community can gather and enjoy. We have teamed up with the West Texas Growers & Producers Association to offer the highest quality Texas produce and artisan goods this region has to offer. Local musicians also join us every Saturday to add to the open-air experience.”
There will be more than a dozen local growers to shop from with farm fresh fruit and vegetables, artisan-baked goods, all natural meats and hand-made organic products. Enjoy live music from local musicians while you shop. Food trucks will also be at West End on July 2nd serving up curbside treats in the north parking lot.
West End is Lubbock’s first lifestyle center of its kind; complete with a large pavilion and fountain, outdoor seating and a focus on landscaping. This is the second phase of the project that will add new retail stores, restaurants and two hotels.
