Names Released After Deadly Plainview Plane Crash

On 5-29-2015 at approximately 21:17 hours a small, single engine airplane which was a Beechcraft A-36 Bonanza took off from the Plainview/Hale County Airport. The aircraft was enroute to Boerne, TX. Almost immediately after takeoff the aircraft crashed on the southeast portion of the airport property.

The plane was occupied by the pilot and two passengers. All three were pronounced dead at the scene.

After preliminary investigation all indications lead us to believe that the victims were:

Paul Waller, 46
Tammy Waller, 44
Michele Waller, 18

All three from Plainview.

Positive I.D. Will not be determined until the final autopsy is complete.

The FAA is on scene conducting their investigation. Nation Transportation Safety Board will arrive on scene late this afternoon.
