Gov. Abbott confirms President Trump grants Major Disaster Declaration for Texas

LUBBOCK, Texas– Governor Greg Abbott confirmed on Twitter that President Donald Trump granted a Major Disaster Declaration for Texas.

Abbott said the declaration will expand resources available to Texas, as well as speed the state’s ability to “robustly respond” to COVID-19, or coronavirus.
