LUBBOCK, Texas — Lubbock Fire Rescue and Lubbock Police were called to the 4900 block of 36th Street for the report of a dead body in a tree. A person was trimming the tree, LFR said. It was not yet known what led to the death, but LFR said someone called at 2:08 pm Tuesday to report a body hanging in a tree.
LFR was called to recover the body from the tree. LPD confirmed that officers are investigating a fatality, but no other information was available yet.
