NORMAN, Okla. — Cameron Warren hit two homeruns to help Texas Tech top Oklahoma, 10-6, in Friday’s series opener at L. Dale Mitchell Park.
Warren’s first home run came in the sixth inning and pulled the Red Raiders within two runs.
The next inning, Warren hit a three-run to give Texas Tech the lead for good. Warren now has 13 home runs on the season and pushed his Big 12 leading RBI total to 60 on the season.
After the Red Raiders took the lead, Taylor Floyd came in and shut down the Oklahoma bats. Floyd struck out six of the nine batters he faced.
The Red Raiders (31-14, 12-7) and Sooners continue the series at 2 p.m. Saturday in Norman.
