Crash kills family from Lubbock including 3-year-old boy

Four people were involved in a deadly crash in King County on Saturday afternoon. According to the Texas Department of Public Safety three were dead, a baby included, and one was moderately injured.

The Lubbock Police Department said it was investigating a motorcycle crash that left a 60-year-old man with serious injuries on Sunday night.

The Lubbock Police Department front desk said no injuries were reported after an armed robbery at a Stripes Convenience Store near 34th Street and I-27 on Monday morning.

A train crash in Garza County over the weekend appeared to be caused by runaway boxcars. Officials with the county’s emergency management office said no injuries were reported.

A GoFundMe account was created for a Lubbock mother and her 3-year-old son who lost their lives in a crash near Guthrie on Saturday afternoon.

The Lubbock Police Department said SWAT and negotiators responded to the Holiday Inn in the 6100 block of Justice Avenue near Spur 327 on Monday afternoon.
