This weather webcast is brought to you by J Ferg Pros.
TODAY: The warm and sunny weather continues today. A ridge of high pressure keeps the sky clouds free with light winds at the surface. High temperatures will reach the mid to upper 80s this afternoon, up to 87° in Lubbock.
TOMORROW: Thursday will be similar to today, but slightly warmer, up to 88° in Lubbock. Winds will be slightly breezy from the south up to 15 mph. Over the next few days, practice sun safety with sunscreen and sunglasses.
LOOKING AHEAD: Friday we are watching for severe weather likely. There are still many details to work out, especially with the location and timing of storms. But, the Storm Team has been consistently tracking the possibility of severe storms Friday night, so stay weather aware. The threat is already elevated, to an enhanced risk (level 3 of 5), with large hail, damaging wind gusts, and tornadoes all possible.
