KLBK Midday Web Forecast June 23, 2017

KLBK Weather

Sunday is the better day to see some rain across more of the region. Even though we’ll see cloudy skies and cool air for this time of year, a disturbance coming in from southwest Canada will help to provide the right ingredients to see scattered showers and thunderstorms at 30%. So, have the umbrella handy all weekend long, especially if you’re headed to Critter Fest over at the Science Spectrum. The high on Sunday is going to get to 81°.

Much of the same as we move into the next work and school week. A disturbance will still be around west Texas. With cloudy skies, that disturbance will be enough to kick up isolated showers and thunderstorms in the area. Coverage will only be 10%, but some spots will get some welcome rain. Otherwise, with the cloudy skies, Lubbock is going to have a high temperature of 80°.
