KLBK Midday Web Forecast May 7, 2019

KLBK Weather

A dry line, cold front and warm front will all act as instigators for severe thunderstorms this afternoon and evening. Baseball size hail, wind gusts to 80 mph and several tornadoes will be expect from Tulia, Plainview, Lubbock, Tahoka and Lamesa east. Briscoe, Hall, Floyd, Motley and Cottle Counties have the highest risk to see damaging torndadoes this evening. The evening commute certainly can be affected this evening with these storms. Travel is discouraged after 6:00 pm, especially in the eastern counties. Stay weather aware today and have a plan in place when these storms hit.
