Happy first day of October! October started off sunny and unseasonably warm as high temperatures today reached the mid to upper 80s. Unfortunately, if you’re looking for more fall-like temperatures you’re going to have to wait a while. Summer-like temperatures make a return to the forecast this week with highs reaching the upper 80s to lower 90s. Tomorrow will be slightly unseasonable as highs will only reach the low to mid 80s, but temperatures mid week will heat up very quickly.
By Wednesday, temperatures will heat up into the upper 80s to low 90s continuing into Thursday. Fortunately, some relief is on the way as temperatures at the end of the week into the weekend will be in the low to mid 80s as abundant cloud cover will help to keep us cool.
If you’re looking for rain you’ll have to wait until the end of the week into the weekend. There is a slight chance for rain on Thursday, but the better chance for rain arrives at the end of the weekend and the beginning of next week. On and off isolated rain showers will stick around Friday into Saturday, but rain chances increase to 20% Sunday into Monday.
Have a great week and stay cool!
