After a very active past few days, your Wednesday has been very quiet. Temperatures remained in the low 80’s with mostly sunny conditions. We have a cold front sliding across the South Plains this evening though, so there is another chance for some showers and thunderstorms across our Northern counties tonight. Thankfully the dry line will be far to the East so severe chances will be low. However, our Northern counties are under the Marginal Risk for strong to severe storms. This will remain the case tomorrow as well, but temperatures will plummet into the low 60’s. Then beginning on Friday, ample rain chances return to the forecast and they will stick around through the beginning of the week. Temperatures will drop to the mid-50’s on Friday, but will jump right back into the mid-70’s by Sunday, just in time for Mother’s Day.
